TREND ALERT: SEQUINS

tumblr_loysjxrkcw1qhprtmo1_1280

It used to be that one only wore sequins on New Years Eve or perhaps to an 80’s themed birthday party, but now, it has become more than appropriate to wear glittery sequins day to night, in the most casual of settings to the fanciest affairs. When done right, sequins have a way of telling onlookers that you want to be seen and that they are going to enjoy what they see. Here are a few of my favorite sequined pieces on the market now.

People say that beauty is pain, but for me, comfort is key. This outfit looks super trendy and detailed, but when you really break it down, I am just wearing a sweatshirt and some house slippers. I love when you can take a simple idea like pajamas or loungewear and elevate it to something that is stylish and sophisticated.
